With the aim of connecting the Midwifery Department of the University of Western Macedonia with its graduates, the Department’s Alumni Association was founded in 2022. The primary goal of the department remains teaching at a high academic level and connecting all those who are active and are distinguished in areas of the academic, scientific and economic life of our country.
The Department considers these graduates as its main ambassadors in society and pursues a two-way communication with them. The goal of this effort is to create a social network where old and new graduates communicate with each other, inform each other and inform the Department about their professional development after graduation.
The ultimate purpose of this activity is to strengthen the identity and unity of the graduates of the Department, to develop networks with educational and scientific bodies at home and abroad and to create a dynamic “community” between students and graduates.

The Association will contribute, with its action, to the realization of our vision which is primarily the connection of graduates everywhere with each other, with the University and with the society in which they live and work.
