Anatomical Laboratory

Anatomy constitutes the foundation of medicine, midwifery as well as nursing. In the anatomy class, we study the morphology and structure of the human body along with all those structural elements, which are seen either macroscopically or microscopically. Pertaining to the teaching method, basic methods are used, with the principal points being observation and simulation rather than just rote memorization.

The study of anatomy is based more on the practice of plastic mannikins in combination with specialized teaching aids (e.g. functional simulator). The focus is particularly on the form, the structure, the synthesis, and the relation of the organs which comprise the organism in combination with functional description and clinical references.

The laboratory’s course material includes the following:

  • Cell, tissues, blood, reticuloendothelial system, skin
  • Skeletal system
  • Muscular system
  • Respiratory system
  • Circulatory system
  • Digestive system
  • Urinary system
  • Genital system
  • Nervous system, sensory organs
  • Endocrine glands
