The aim of the course is for students to acquire all the basic principles of the theoretical and practical approach and care of a patient with gynecological pathological conditions. Moreover, students are expected to be able to understand the basic nursing skills and interventions, as well as to plan and implement the appropriate gynecological nursing care on patients with any kind of pathological conditions of the genital system and the breast and to carry out preventive checks for the early diagnosis of malignancies of the genital system and the breast.
Students will be trained in laboratories on the nursing care of patients with gynecological diseases.
