Exam Regulation

Students who do not bring proof of their student status with them are not allowed to participate in the exams. The required control at the beginning of the exam is the responsibility of certain invigilators and the instructor of the course.

Cooperation, conversation, and any exchange of objects between the participants in the examination is prohibited.

Entrance in the rooms where the examination is held after it has started and during the examination procedure is forbidden.

Examinees are obliged to comply with the invigilators’ instructions regarding their arrangement in the room.

The use of any type of aid (books, notes, etc.) is prohibited, with the exception of those expressly permitted by the course instructor.

During the examination, the use of mobile phones is prohibited. Phones must be switched off. Cell phones are not allowed to be used as calculators. Any attempt to turn on or use a mobile phone during the exam is considered an attempt to copy and will automatically result in the writing being failed (marked by the invigilators).

Exam topics must be returned together with the student’s writing, as well as any reference stickers given to them during the exam. The topics can be taken with them only by those students who hand in their written work at the end of the exam and only if the course teacher allows it.

It is forbidden for the examinee to leave the room during the examination. A brief exit may be allowed, only after the permission of the supervisor and due to extreme necessity.

During the examination it is forbidden to remain less than two examining students in the room.

During the exams, the UoWM technical staff may be requested to limit access to the internet through the departments’ wireless networks.

In cases of copying or violation of the above rules, the General Assembly of the department decides on the imposed penalty.
